This allows us to provide tailored high-level security and high speed while maintaining cost efficiency.
The data center at MPeXnetworks consists of physically sealed-off areas that only our authorized employees can access. Access is controlled with a five-step safety system, several personalized authorizations and video monitoring.
42 identical instances of our main data center are operated by the provider, and all centers around the world are equipped with the same components. Our high-performance data centers satisfy the maximum requirements for redundancy, safety and standardization. The dual power lines supplied separately from opposite directions of the compass are run actively to the hosting area via the uninterruptable power supply. The redundant battery blocks of the UPS are charged through the public power supply system. If these fail, preheated diesel generators take over the power supply.
Fully redundant air conditioning systems keep the temperature and humidity constant over the entire year. The data centers have dual fiber-optic supply lines entering the building from opposite directions. To ensure the availability of the backbone, more than the power lines and equipment are redundant: MPeXnetworks operates a continuous n+1 network and connects two of the largest, independent TIER-1 IP upstream providers in the world.
We contractually guarantee your company a highly available supply of power, air conditioning and IP upstream in addition to other service parameters offered in a premium service level agreement.

Our Berlin data centers are more than 5 km apart and are connected with each other by an independent gigabit fiber-optic ring. This enables the seamless depiction of backup and business continuity scenarios between both locations in case of major damage and catastrophe.
